It's practically roasted when you order it.[.]. They have organic coffee as well and the Kona Coffee and Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is VERY good. This is a very good organic coffee. Another good coffee, which I don't see on Amazon, is Monroe's Coffee.
I am going to try some other varieties of this brand, but will always keep some of this on hand. This is a rich, full-bodied coffee. I drink at least a pot a day and I have yet to get a nasty acid kick-back.
Would recommend to all of my friends. Excellent quality, makes a great, sharp yet earthy cup of Jo'.
Not only is it comparable to Peet's french roast, but it's organic as well. I was wrong. The important political aspects to supporting this company has been well reviewed by others so I'll just say it's an excellent tasting coffee at an excellent price. Like many of us, I've been tightening my belt over the past few months and decided to give this coffee a try. I've been drinking only Peet's coffee for at least a couple of years now, and expected, quite frankly, for this coffee to suck.
i heartily recommend. this is simply the best coffee i've ever tasted - dark, rich, gooey beans. and if you read the outside of the bag, you'll feel good about doing the right thing for the planet.
